Reimagining Yum Cha

To celebrate International Women's Day this year we've teamed up with the illustrious Chef Nina "Teddie" Huynh to reimagine Yum Cha classics in the lens of her Vietnamese heritage.

Over the course of brunch, you will enjoy a set menu of Yum Cha x Vietnamese classics given a bit of pep for the modern palate.

Nina is a Sydney based chef, who has previously lead the kitchen at Yellow and Emerald Room, she is currently focusing on projects that make a difference and gives back to the community. Earlier this year, Nina launched Pho & Femme – a series of pop up cooking events focused on women’s stories, Vietnamese heritage and sustainability. The cooking events pay homage to the women who have shaped the culture, the food, and the future. Through her work, Nina continues to honour her Vietnamese heritage while pushing the boundaries of fine dining.

Chau Tran, Global Gin Mare cocktail champion, will be creating drinks alongside Nina for the event. Expect delicious Tanqueray and Bellicose (an amazing Aussie gin owned by an incredible lady) libations to go along with your yum.

$1 from each dish and drink sold, will be donated to the Women's & Girls' Emergency Centre in Redfern.

Prawn and basa dumplings in Canh Chua broth

Beef cheek pho braise

Silken tofu with ube ginger syrup

+ add $49 pp for bottomless drinks (your pick from 2 seasonal cocktails, blanc de blanc, house white or red wine and house lager) for 90 minutes
